SAN FRANCISCO, December 5, 2012 — Laura Schooling, formerly executive director, marketing services of Hearst Digital Media is relocating to San Francisco in January to join Jumpstart Automotive Media as chief marketing officer. The announcement was made today by the company's CEO, Nick Matarazzo.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Schooling will oversee marketing, creative, product, and insights helping solidify Jumpstart Automotive Group as the premier portfolio of digital automotive properties, providing advertisers with leading-edge media and marketing solutions.
While at Hearst, Schooling was credited with developing high-level partnerships with companies like inMobi, Ensemble, and Buddy Media to drive mobile and social revenue and spearheading product innovation via start-up technologies like Video Genie and FlixMaster in order to create innovative and custom advertising campaigns. She was also named MIN's 2012 Marketer of the Year.

Schooling joined Hearst in 2009. Prior to that she was at Condé Nast where she was Merchandising Director at The New Yorker and Associate Creative Services Director at Condé Nast Digital. She started her career on the editorial side, and was the launch editor for Front Desk Los Angeles (Modern Luxury, Inc.), a monthly city guide. She also wrote a series of books for Taschen: Fashion and Beauty Ads of the '50s, '60s, and '70s.
