Make Way for the Pickup Truck: The Big Guys Still Lead, but the Small Guys Are Not Far Behind

Consumer interest for large pickup trucks continues to surge and is showing no sign of slowing down. Large pickup trucks had a 23% increase in interest in the first five months of 2013 (January – May) across Jumpstart Automotive Media's portfolio of sites. And in comparing the percent of shoppers visiting make and model pages in the first five months of 2013 (January – May 2013) to 2012, Jumpstart Automotive Media has seen a 5% increase in online shopper interest in small pickups trucks—the first increase it's recorded since 2008.
